OMG ! No really - How can it be that I haven't made an entry since September ?

Well - It could be that I've been a busy li'l old lady.
In mid-Septtember I started a class at Church, called Education for Ministry.
It's a four year program studying the Bible and church history and Theology.
It's cool - only 12 students and a mentor at a round table - very apostolic.

I bought a new car in early December. I'll have to post a photo later - it didn't occur to me to take a pic. It's a silver Honda Civic, with a moon roof, and I love it!
It's soooo nice to have a trustworthy vehicle.
When I adjust the mirror I'm not worried that it will come off in my hand (as happened twice with the heap) and there are no worrisome noises to stress over.
Oh Yes, and when I step on the long rectangular pedal with my right foot the car actually scoots forward witout hesitation. The radio works, and the turn signals, too (both of them). The passenger window goes down AND up and never gets stuck. When I step on the brake - it actually stops - right away. WOW !
It gets great gas mileage - the beast got about 13 mpg - so I've just been cruising around enjoying driving the way I used to. I think I need to go to Santa Barbara.

I'm also keeping up with my CASA commitment. The child I'm responsible for is 13 months old now and I spend about 20 hours a month working the case. I feel like I'm making a contribution to society.

My neighbor boys are seven and five now and learning new things. I get the best part of teaching without the responsibility. Paulo calls me "tia".

The main reason I have forgotten to "blog" is I have been trying to "get my house in order".
I have no idea why I have so much junk but about half of it is perfectly useless so out it goes.
My back and knee are making the task go pretty slow, but eventually I hope to achieve my goal of "a place foreverything" then I'll have to work on the "everything in it's place" part.
Mom would be so proud.
